To use running as a healthy tool to achieve any goals, calm my mind, and to also have fun with.
Tell us about your running accomplishment that you’re most proud of and why:
I showed myself that I can still run marathons. I finished Seattle Rock n Roll with a smile on my face, smiling sister and husband at the end of the race, thinking of my parents the whole time I was running (and they helped me get through it too), and I was still walking afterwards!
Why do you want to be a distance runner?
My sister got me into it. She and I was running together and we talked about life in general. She makes me believe that with running, you can think better, along with getting fit.
We both love to eat too! So why not use the healthy tool to do what we love to do?! 🙂
