Long-term, big shot goals that you someday hope to achieve with running: Not to get intimidated by ultra races that run throughout the night. And to be able to run a fast 5K.
Tell us about your running accomplishment that you’re most proud of and why: I ran before as the way to get some exercise, moved my legs faster than walking, and get my heart rate going. Then my sister-in-law got BQ and ran it in 2010. Since then Boston was in my mind. Not until I met Matt that I thought it would be possible for me to run in faster pace, leave alone 26.2 miles. 2 years after, one injury after another and so many tries, and countless push from Matt, I ran my best race ever and qualified for Boston over 13 minutes faster than I thought. And the big surprise was, Kris, my sister-in-law, was there waiting for me at the finish line.
Favorite Workout: Hill Repeats.
Most Challenging Workout: Intervals. It never gets easier, you just accept it and get used of it.
