Lessons Learned from Race Reports

  • Note: New course in 2018 that is flatter and more scenic, and the race date moved to a month earlier to avoid the heat of previous years.
  • Parking at the start/finish is fairly easy and close to the race course
  • Well-organized race, from the expo to the aid stations and the finish chute
  • Smaller race (~3,700 in the past), but still well-run and has the benefits of a bigger race, yet not the huge crowds or struggles with parking
  • Pretty neighborhoods along the course

None, new course and race date in 2018, making it a flatter, more scenic course, and moving the date up a month, hoping for cooler weather.
