I am competitive, and passionate about providing athletes with the best environment to pursue success as defined by them. I believe setting new and harder challenges for yourself through running is one of the most powerful ways to grow as an athlete and as a person. I love supporting athletes on their individual journeys as they reach for new goals, return to the sport after a time away, or come to find the joy in running for the first time.

As much as I love running, I love being on and around the water. My cross-training consists mainly of long distance paddling, by both kayak and SUP. I find the endurance mindset that I practice in running to lend itself well to these activities, and appreciate the additional challenge of strategizing around currents and tides. I was a high school cross country runner who returned to running and found a deeper joy in it in adulthood. Now I get to share this passion with my friends and am very grateful for the many ways in which running, and focus on active pursuits at large, helps to build our community. You’d be hard-pressed to get me to turn down a a track workout, however a long trail run is also one of my favorite ways to start the day.


I attribute my biggest coaching influences to those I have coached with and who have coached me. Additionally, I pursue opportunities to meet and learn from nationally-acclaimed coaches and speakers at annual conferences such as the Wildwood Running Conference. I am consistently pursuing ways to improve my craft and practice as a coach, including new learning and certification opportunities which allow me to explore the latest best practices routed in sustainable success.
