SPECIALTIES

I am a firm believer that every body is a runner’s body. However, the world needs more support and education to encourage more body movement. This is why I specialize in coaching you in the early stages of your running journey, whether you’ve never considered yourself a runner before, or you’re needing some help getting back on the trails, I can encourage you through the whole process. As a single mother, I understand that life is hectic sometimes. It may seem there is no time to fit in a daily run, but I am experienced in creating a routine that fits into your busy schedule. I offer strength training practices to accompany your running, from your first 5k all the way up to your first ultra. If you have other non-running goals, such as weight loss, muscle toning, or building endurance, I can assist with that as well. I am certified in personal training and want to help you reach all of your fitness goals one step at a time.

I believe that your running journey can bring balance to all parts of your life, including physical health, mental health, nutrition and relationships. I want to help you find balance in your life while also helping you accomplish your goals. This could look like setting your new PR, moving your body more consistently, or finding a more positive relationship with food. I will give you the tools you need to allow you to consistently show up for yourself and accomplish your running goals. You just have to take that first step. I’ll be here to guide you the rest of the way. I am excited to have a firsthand view in watching your journey progress!

ABOUT ME

Energetic, happy and fun;

Those are the words that I love using to describe myself, although this was not always the case. I struggled with body image issues most of my life which negatively impacted my ability to love myself. I was forced down a path I didn’t want. I didn’t know I was allowed to choose me.
After, I woke up one morning and realized I’d had enough. I needed to choose something for myself, so I went for a run.. The world stood still for the first time in my life and I was able to collect my thoughts. The feeling was invigorating. I ran again the next day, and the next day, and in building this habit of daily movement, started changing.

I found myself regularly out there on the trail.
I became a happier, healthier version of me.
I fell in love with myself and my body, and was able to create a life I chose.

Today, I am an avid runner, a single mom to a wonderful boy and active member of the running community in Bend, Oregon.

In two years, I went from running zero miles to running a 100 mile marathon. I had no idea how much I would accomplish with that first run, but I am so glad I took that first step. After achieving my 100 mile goal, I decided it was time for a new chapter in life and began training in how to encourage and coach others on their own fitness journey. Today I love to empower others and help them see just how amazing they are.

BIG INFLUENCES

I have had a couple of coaches along the way to help me in my running journey, including Eve Rebennack and Rob Quintos. They were both great at keeping me consistent and motivated. They also helped me see the bigger picture during times that I was hard on myself while not accomplishing a certain goal.

RACING HISTORY

I have always strived at being better than I was yesterday. When it comes to running, endurance has always been my strong suit. With my first experience being in high school cross country, I made my return to running in 2019 and quickly advanced to further and further distances. My first race was a half marathon in 2019, then in 2020 I ran 2 marathons and my first 50k.

In 2021 I ran my first 50 miler and was 3rd place for women. I ran my first 24 hour race and ran 90 miles coming in 5th place for women and then followed that up by running and completing my first 100 mile race.
