I can coach runners from a road mile through the marathon. Whether your goal is to finish a specific race, hit a certain time or win an award I can set up training plans to get you there. From personal experience I can help with returning to racing after heart surgery, quintuple bypass in 2015 in my case. I work with beginners and intermediate runners from Youth to Masters Athletes.

Have fun, everything else becomes much easier when you are having fun. We will find workouts, cycles, cross training, and supplementary exercises that keep the fun in your training. Even if working towards your stretch goals we will be having fun.

I am a new certified coach but have coached myself and some family members over the years towards PR races.

I am retired and living in LA County. My wife and I moved from the East Coast to LA to spend time with our grand daughter and her parents!! I love running, my very large family, the Baltimore Orioles, cooking, reading, ….

I think my favorite race may have been a 5k I ran with my wife. Several years after me she also needed heart surgery. This race during her recovery period was awesome for both of us.

The best training block I have ever had was before my half marathon PR in Frederick, MD. That race seemed so easy the whole way through.
