SPECIALTIES

Beginners and non-runners are my passion. My mission is to get as many people to run happy and safe as possible.

I primarily focus on the following:

  • 5k, 10k, Half Marathon, and Marathon Races
  • Strength Training
  • Athlete Nutrition

PHILOSOPHY

THERE IS NO FINISH LINE

Running is one of the most humble fitness activities available to (able) humans. All you need is a decent and cheap pair of running shoes. Just like in other life areas, I don’t think of running as a one-off, isolated event. In fact for me running is a lifestyle, with its many healthy and mental positive benefits that potentially anyone can adopt.

When I don’t coach private clients you will find me leading Not A Run Club, an in-person weekly event that welcomes and encourages all-inclusiveness and all fitness level.

COACHING EXPERIENCE

I’ve been completing non-competitive race since 2007 in London when I ran a 5k that felt like a full marathon, and I’ve been hooked since. I’ve been coaching a few non-runners completing a Marathon, but in parallel I’ve been helping hundreds of clients improving and achieve a healthy lifestyle that includes all elements (food, sleep, exercise, mental health, natural solutions).

ABOUT ME

I’m a board certified Health Coach but most of all I’m a runner and an athlete. Over the years I’ve learned how to train, and how to eat to workout to avoid injuries while fine tuning optimal nutrition which is at the basis of proper physical and mental activities.
When I started running as a young boy my lungs were already badly affected by the bad habit of smoking cigarettes. I thought running was a horrible sport until I quit many years later as an adult, but I kept jogging anyway. Eventually I quit smoking and adopted a more healthy lifestyle. Fast forward to today, I’m a healthy 47 y.o. looking to most people like a 40 y.o. man. Reversing age is possible, and it starts with how you train, eat, and take care of your mind. Running has been part of my formula to achieve that and it worked!

BIG INFLUENCES

My inspiration comes daily from the people I trained and ran with over the years. I’m fascinated and encouraged by their willpower and ability to overcome obstacles when training a completing a race. There is nothing like that face at the finish line that says: I’ve done it!

My style is meeting you where you are at, using science based concepts that have been proven to be successful and safe, given by the UESCA’s faculty members who trained me to become the better and more prepared running coach I am today.
