My specialties are with beginner runners and strength training. I am passionate about injury prevention and cross training. Whether you’re a walker looking to start running or wanting to train for a race, I’m here to guide you through your running journey! I believe in living a balanced and healthy lifestyle and would love to help you achieve your goals. I’m excited to start working with you!
I believe consistency and balance is so important when it comes to running. Cross training, rest days & recovery are vital to avoid burnout and injury. Everyone is different, so it is essential to listen to your body and follow a training plan that suits YOU. I look forward to helping you increase endurance & strength, avoid injury, & reach your goals! I’m excited to create plans tailored specifically to you.
My coaching experience started with creating running plans for friends and family. Most were looking to turn from walkers into runners. It has been so rewarding to see them reach their initial goals and continue to create new ones. I am new to Team RunRun and I am so excited to team up with others!
I have past experience as a Treadmill instructor, guiding athletes of all levels through speed & endurance workouts. I am also a certified personal trainer & believe in the importance of consistency, balance, strength training and injury prevention. I’m excited to help you start your running journey & be with you every step of the way!
I come from a soccer, basketball and track background but did not start taking running seriously until 2017. My sister is a running coach and is the one who inspired me to find running again. She turned me from a walker to a runner and then helped me reach goals for long distance runs that I never believed I could achieve. The joy I felt from running for 10 minutes without stopping for the first time to now training for my first Half-Marathon has been so rewarding.
I’ve dealt with injuries and understand the importance of warm-ups, cool-downs, and strength exercises in order to help avoid future injuries. Our bodies are strong and capable of so much and I am passionate about helping others achieve their goals & believe in themselves!
My biggest influences are my family and friends. My sister has been key in motivating me and keeping me consistent with running. My family encouraged me to become a coach, and I wouldn’t be here without the support system & those who have trusted me as their trainer. I believe accountability & motivation is so important. It’s great to have someone to keep you on track with hitting your goals, and I want to be that person for others.
In college I participated in the school’s Fun Run 5ks. In 2017 I became more serious about improving my running ability, but it wasn’t until this year that I wanted to challenge myself more and train for races. In the Winter of 2020 I started training for Bloomsday (my first 12k) and in the Summer of 2020 I started to train for the SeaWheeze Half-Marathon & Windermere Half-Marathon. Unfortunately, all of the races got cancelled due to Covid-19. My spots in the races have been deferred for 2021 and I can’t wait to accomplish my goal of completing my first Half-Marathon!
NASM certified personal trainer
12k: 1:15:45 (May 2020) personal run. With my 12k Race being cancelled, I decided to just do my own race. After putting in the work, I was so excited to have completed the distance, as this was the farthest I had ever ran!

Empire Fitness Half Marathon Race Report – 11/21/20
A transparent and consistent coach review system is really valuable to us. The main goal of reviews
is to make sure a coach is fulfilling their obligations, is available for their runner, is communicating well and being responsive, is demonstrating knowledge, and is simply providing a great experience. We reach out to runners for a review 2 months after they’ve been with a coach, which is ample time for a runner to know if their coach is fulfilling these obligations.
