3 Bests – What aspects of the race did you like the most?

  1. Scenic – it was along the centennial trail and went along the Spokane river
  2. Great weather – we got lucky with the weather – it was sunny and crisp but this time of year in the Spokane it is usually hit or miss!

I loved everything about it, and can’t wait to run this course again!

Weird factor – What’s the weirdest thing about this race?

It became an unofficial race due to CODIV-19. There were not as many participants, volunteers along the course, or water stations.

Highlights of your race – What did you do well and enjoy about your race in particular?

This was my first 1/2 marathon so I was trying to take it all in and enjoy the run. I surprised myself with my time and ran faster than I thought I would!

My pace was faster than expected. I listened to my body and took really good care of It during this training. I ran less mileage and less runs during the week with a good mix of cross training.

Aesthetics – Is it a pretty course?

Beautiful course that goes along the Spokane river!

Difficulty – Is it a tough course?

Fairly flat, with some rolling hills
