Philosophy
I believe that running is more than just a sport—it’s a journey of self-discovery, resilience, and growth. My coaching philosophy is built on three core principles:
- Personalization: Every runner is different. I create tailored training plans that align with your goals, fitness level, and lifestyle.
- Co-Ownership: You’re in the driver’s seat. I empower you to take ownership of your training, so you feel confident and motivated.
- Sustainability: Running should enhance your life, not overwhelm it. I focus on building long-term endurance and fitness, so you can enjoy running for years to come.
Coaching Experience
I have been coaching for nearly 5 years professionally and my athletes have participated in some of the major world ultras like Western States, UTMB and Spartathlon. I am also the training co-ordinator for my local run club where I get to train the club athletes twice a week for half marathon and marathons. I have been coaching young adults as well as seniors who are continually pushing the boundaries of their own individual training lifestyle
About Me
For nearly a decade, I’ve been running ultra marathons across diverse terrains and distances, pushing my limits and learning what it takes to succeed in endurance running. Applying my data background and keen interest in exercise physiology, I have adapted and developed individual training theory for the athletes I coach
Race History
I started running ultras in 2016 and did so directly from the 100k distance. Subsequently, I have been doing races regularly where I can experience the local running events as well as some of the more bigger international races. These have included trail and mountain ultras plus also the 24 hour and 48 hour track ultras. Now I use the races as an opportunity to explore a new country and to keep training to remain fit and in touch with the latest training theories and models
