Philosophy
Consistency is key—but not without intentionality. My coaching is rooted in smart progression, individualization, and holistic development. Every athlete’s physiology, schedule, and mental approach are different, so I prioritize communication, injury prevention, and sustainable growth. Strength training, recovery, and the “little things” (nutrition, footwear, mindset) are foundational in every plan.

- Coached/mentored runners through Fleet Feet community connections, working with athletes at various stages from beginner to elite
About Me
I’m a Midwest native from Iowa who’s lived and trained in Boulder, Colorado Springs, and now Long Beach California who is obsessed with running shoes and a firm believer in the power of routine. I’ve worked for the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee, helped coach a DIII powerhouse team while working full-time at Wartburg College, and now call Southern California home. When I’m not coaching or running, I am geeking out on the newest running shoes, following my favorite running YouTubers, or dog sitting.
