Specialties

I love working with beginner and intermediate level runners, and can coach for the 5K, 10K, Half, and Full marathons. I have experience as a group fitness instructor, and have years of experience coaching strength training.

Philosophy

It is so important to me that no matter what your goals are, that you are having fun and enjoying the process. It is amazing to challenge yourself, set goals, and crush them – but doing so realistically while still maintaining your “normal life”.

Coaching Experience

I have been teaching various group fitness classes for 10 years, and have worked with athletes of all ages and levels. I am a certified personal trainer and have coached with Orange theory fitness (the treadmill was my favorite part). I have been volunteering as a coach for a charity team at the NYC Marathon for 4 years as well.

About Me

I split my time between Brooklyn, NY and the Adirondack Mountains, and love exploring in both places with my dog, Layla!

I was not always a runner. I actually couldn’t do the mile in middle school and almost failed gym. As an adult, I began to fall in love with fitness, and eventually running. After my first 5k, I was obsessed. Through the years, I built up my distance, and have now completed 9 marathons. What I love about it so much, is that it is something that can keep challenging us, something you can have fun doing, and the running community. I know what it feels like to starting by trying to run 1 mile. I also know what it feels like to break personal records in distance running.

I also love music, and love curating the perfect playlists to get me ready for a run!

Big Influences

My biggest influences have been the runners that I have met at different at races. I love learning their stories, and always try to connect with people at different running events.

Race History

I have raced distances from the 5k to the marathon.

When I ran my first marathon in 2018, I thought it would be the only one I was going to do…
In March, I will complete the 6 original World Marathon Majors when I run in Tokyo.

I have run the NYC Marathon 4 times, and have coached a charity team through that marathon for 4 years. I love the NYC Marathon, and have grown to know the course really well. My favorite thing to do is taking the charity team on a run through the last 10 miles of the race.

I have run 9 full marathons, and over 20 half marathons.

I’ve only been working with Allison for a few months but she’s been fantastic. Just before she started coaching me I got injured and she has been methodically building back my running slowly to make sure I stay injury free. She checks in every day to see how my workouts have gone and is super supportive. I’m excited to see how the training builds once we get into marathon training later this year.
