About Me
Hi!
I’m originally from Raleigh, NC and went to college at Queens University of Charlotte NC. I’m a huge football fan and played football and soccer growing up. As a freshman in high school I tried out for the indoor track team to stay in shape for soccer and did not make the cut. Stubborn, I asked if I could at least workout with the team, eventually working my way onto the team. My first official race as a freshman I ran 5:36 in the 1600m and worked down to a 4:58 by the end of outdoor track and was hooked on running.

Race History
Racing my first and only half marathon a few years out of college. It was a tough experience and really eye-opening being alone without a coach and teammates. The race went a lot better than expected now in hindsight, based on training and given the circumstances, but at the time I beat myself over it for too long. Sometimes we have to give ourselves some grace.
