Specialties

I specialize in working with anyone who is looking to add running to their lifestyle in a safe and healthy way, beginner-level athletes who are looking to improve their overall performance and grow their base, and intermediate athletes looking to diversify their training and really dive deeper into road racing. My background in strength training, combined with my running expertise, will support you in reaching your next goals.

Philosophy

The best kind of exercise is the one you like to do! My philosophy is based on finding what is right for you. Each of us is unique; we come from our own background. We have our own goals in mind, but sometimes it can seem so difficult to achieve them! There is always a way to navigate forward to get you where you want to be. We will find the right path for you.

Coaching Experience

Prior experience working with my university’s barbell club and powerlifting athletes competing at the local and state levels. Current experience working with runners at different levels, and members of a local run club who are preparing for distance races.

About Me

I’m a marathon runner who loves to help beginner and intermediate runners achieve their running goals. I graduated from Cornell University with a B.S. in Biological Sciences and a Minor in Health and Nutrition. I am also a Level 1 Certified Running Coach through Road Runners Club of America. I’m here to support you and to help you achieve your goals! I specialize in helping beginner-level and intermediate-level runners, as well as anyone new to the sport! Together, we can conquer a 5K, 10K, half-marathon, and even a full marathon!

Big Influences

Randy Accetta PhD, Jack Daniels PhD, and Pete Pfitzinger have provided so much of my foundational knowledge of how to achieve running goals. My programming revolves around building an aerobic-heavy base in a way that takes into account your unique background, then structuring weeks of training with purpose, to target the right levels of training stimulus and fatigue. Workouts are built by accumulating heart rate data and perceived effort-level exertion to guide and design program periodization. Strength training and cross-training are great ways to supplement any weaknesses, so we will add the right habits to accelerate achieving your goals.

Race History

I’ve completed numerous half and full marathons, but the one that sticks out the most in my history is the 2025 Philadelphia Marathon. It was such a formative experience, as it was my first time racing in a huge city! Nothing matches the energy of tens of thousands of people lining the entire course, cheering and supporting every runner chasing after their goals. The vibes were electric, you should try it sometime!
