Philosophy
Real life comes first. Training should fit around it, not fight it. Consistency, patience, and self trust are what makes progress happen.
Coaching Experience
I coach trail and ultra runners at all stages-from first trail races to 100K+goals. I work with athletes juggling real life, busy schedule’s, motherhood, and everything in between.
I also help runners come back from injury or setbacks rebuild confidence and trust their bodies, step by step.
My coaching is designed to fit into real life not compete with it. We build structure without overwhelm, so you can stay consistent without feeling like
training is taking over everything else
A big part of my coaching is mindset. I help athletes stay steady when things get tough, work through doubt and keep showing up-even on hard days.
About Me
I am a fierce advocate for the “long game”—in running and in life.
Ten years ago, I survived a stroke that left me wondering if I would ever be able to walk properly again. The journey from those uncertain early days to crossing the finish line as the first American woman at the 250K Marathon des Sables didn’t happen overnight. It happened through relentless, quiet consistency. It taught me that the human body—and spirit—is far more capable than we often give it credit for, and it cemented my life’s motto: never give up on yourself.
Today, I am a professional endurance coach and a fiercely competitive ultramarathoner who specializes in getting you ready for your first ultra race, 100-mile races, and multi-day mountain epics. But I am also a busy mom living in Eugene, Oregon. I know exactly what it means to balance a massive training block with school drop-offs, cheering from the sidelines of my kids’ sporting events, and managing the unpredictable chaos of daily life. I don’t train in a vacuum, and I don’t coach in one either.
I believe that a well-lived life makes for a better runner. When I’m not logging miles on the dirt or writing training plans, you can usually find me climbing peaks in the summer, chasing my kids around, or enjoying a good cup of coffee with friends.
Whether I am navigating the physiological shifts of master’s running, lining up at a UTMB start line, or helping an athlete build a comeback after an injury, my approach is always the same: running should elevate your life, not compete with it.
Big Influences
While my name is the one on the race bib, my miles are entirely fueled by the people who stand behind me. I don’t train in a vacuum, and I don’t coach in one either. I know exactly what it means to balance a massive training block with school drop-offs, cheering from the sidelines of my kids’ sporting events, and managing the beautiful chaos of daily life.
My strength is rooted in my village. My mother and my sister are my primary blueprints for grit; they taught me what it means to show up when things are hard, supporting me through my stroke recovery long before I ever laced up trail shoes. My husband is my unwavering anchor, managing the home front and crewing me through the darkest hours of my 100-milers. And my kids are my ultimate “why”—they are the reason I want to show what resilience and chasing your potential looks like in real time.
Whether I am lining up at a UTMB start line or helping an athlete build a comeback after an injury, my approach is always the same: running should elevate your life, not compete with it.
Race History
I am a fiercely competitive endurance athlete, a busy mom, and a 10-year stroke survivor who refuses to back down from a challenge. The journey from those uncertain early days of recovery to crossing the finish line as the first American woman at the 2022 Marathon des Sables taught me that the human body—and spirit—is far more capable than we often give it credit for.
My competitive background includes some of the world’s most demanding endurance events: I was 4th Overall at the Canyons 100-miler, a two-time Top 10 finisher at the Black Canyon 100k, a Top 20 finisher at the TDS (UTMB), 11th at Marathon Des Sables, and the overall winner of both the Siuslaw Dunes 50k and the Race the Wolf 52k. I also won my debut 100-miler at Scout Mountain and set an FKT on the Oregon section of the Pacific Crest Trail for a short while.
