Philosophy

One of the best things about running is that it can be a lifelong sport, you can run through all the stages of your life. Testing yourself on 5k’s or 100 miles, depending on where you are in your journey. I focus on sustainability by incorporating strength training and mobility. I will help you build confidence as a runner and as a human being by achieving your goals and by seeing what your body can do.

People can achieve great things with the right support system and coach.
I help people be more durable humans. No matter where you are starting from I can help you reach your goals by dividing them into small achievable steps .

Coaching Experience

Throughout my journey, I came to terms with that I’m not going to be a fast runner so have turned to the bigger distances instead and have goals of standing on the start line at Destination Trail’s Bigfoot 200 and also Javelina Jundred – I am a proud back of the pack runner and don’t believe that an athlete’s size should determine their goals.

About Me

Throughout my journey, I came to terms with that I’m not going to be a fast runner so have turned to the bigger distances instead and have goals of standing on the start line at classic 100 mile races like Cascade Crest 100 , Black Canyon 100 or at Big Foot 200 – I am a proud back of the pack runner and don’t believe that an athlete’s size or speed should determine their goals.

I live in Seattle and I coach people all over the world in habit based nutrition and running.
Running is about mountains, views, exploration, freedom, beauty, strength, independence, self-sufficiency, and empowerment. It is a way to enhance being alive and celebrate what bodies are capable of.

I love backpacking all the beautiful trails and to plan outdoor adventures!

I use the Precision Nutrition methodology of only making small changes at a time and only changing what the athlete is ready, willing , and able to do right now.

Consistency and habits are what drive success, not big changes that are only sustainable for a short time.

Big Influences

Catra Corbett – who changed the direction of her life through running. She then influenced others to make changes.

Greg Glassman – who was the father of CrossFit and wasn’t afraid to challenge the norm in searching for the best way train better, less breakable humans.

Jason Koop – who’s philosophy of genuine care for athletes is what makes a coach effective.
