About Me
I am a former Division III Cross Country/Track & Field athlete who has maintained a love of the sport. I still compete personally and religiously follow the sport at the collegiate and professional level. I was born with a club left foot which may have limited my running potential, but not my love of the sport. I also love going to sporting events and concerts. I am an attorney in my day job.
Big Influences
I incorporate training elements used by elite athletes and top college programs, and tweak them based on each athlete’s strengths and weaknesses.
Race History
My most significant races were during a period after graduating from college where I was training full time while trying to figure out what I was going to do with my life. I was living in the Charlotte, NC area and was basically living like a professional runner, and that Thanksgiving managed a huge personal best of 27:30 in the 8k, which was over 100 seconds faster than I had ever run in college. Later that winter I ran a 58:37 10 mile race which was also faster than I had run for half the distance in college. Those races were very rewarding as they solidified my belief in myself and my training.
