SPECIALTIES
I specialize in coaching runners across a wide range of distances, from short sprints to the half marathon. My focus is on helping athletes build speed, endurance, and efficiency while keeping training fun and adaptable to individual goals. Whether you’re aiming to improve your 5K time, gain strength for middle-distance racing, or successfully complete your first half marathon, I create structured, supportive plans that develop both fitness and confidence.
Along with running-specific training, I emphasize strength training to improve performance and reduce injury risk, as well as nutrition guidance to support energy, recovery, and long-term success. My goal is to create well-rounded athletes who feel confident on race day and strong in their everyday training.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe that every runner is unique, and training should be both personalized and adaptable to fit each athlete’s lifestyle, goals, and experience level. My philosophy is rooted in consistency, gradual progression, and balance—helping athletes improve while staying healthy and motivated. I emphasize the importance of combining structured running with strength training to build durability and reduce injury risk, and I include nutrition guidance to fuel performance and recovery. Above all, I strive to create a positive, supportive coaching environment that helps athletes enjoy the process just as much as the results.
COACHING EXPERIENCE
I have trained and coached track and cross-country athletes, focusing on building speed, endurance, and smart race strategies. As a competitive runner myself, I’ve trained extensively for distances from the mile up to the half marathon, which gives me firsthand insight into the physical and mental demands of training. I bring that knowledge to the athletes I work with, combining running experience with strength and nutrition guidance to create a complete approach to performance.
ABOUT ME
I grew up in Cazenovia, NY and am currently living in Syracuse. I attended Niagara University where I ran Cross-Country and Track. Outside of running, I love fashion and work part-time at a consignment boutique. I love traveling, hiking, and being outdoors!
BIG INFLUENCES
My biggest influences as a runner and coach have been my mom and my high school coach. My mom ran at Auburn University, and growing up I admired her dedication to the sport and the balance she found in life through running. My high school coach, a former Marine, showed me the value of discipline, mental toughness, and consistency. Together, they shaped my belief that running is about more than just training—it’s about building character, resilience, and a lifelong love for the sport.
RACING HISTORY
Some of my proudest moments have come after major set backs in my career. Senior year of high school I dealt with severe anemia which caused my running performance to decline greatly as I lost strength. After careful attention to my diet and consuming more iron, I was able to come back and better than ever, hungry for a new PR. I got stronger and stronger each race and eventually had a break-through race in the 1500.
