Specialties
Having completed many half marathons myself, I bring firsthand experience to every training plan. I know the physical and mental demands of race prep, pacing, fueling, and race-day execution. I help runners build endurance, avoid burnout, and confidently cross the finish line—whether it’s your first race or you’re chasing a PR.
As a NASM-certified personal trainer, I specialize in integrating strength training to improve running performance. My programs focus on injury prevention, running economy, and functional strength—helping you run faster, longer, and with better form while reducing overuse injuries.
With over a decade of nursing experience, I take a health-first approach to coaching. I help runners train safely, recognize early signs of injury or overtraining, and build sustainable habits. My background allows me to bridge the gap between fitness and healthcare so you can stay consistent and healthy.
Philosophy
- I am a firm believer that we all began running for a reason, and we should never forget why we started.
- I also believe that running not only has physical benefits, but mental benefits as well and both are of great significance.
- I want to help create a healthy relationship with running and never forget the joy it brings to your life.
Coaching Experience
Experienced run coach and NASM-CPT with a background in group fitness and 1:1 training. I’ve helped runners achieve PRs, return from injury, and rebuild consistency—especially busy professionals and new moms navigating a return to running. My coaching combines strength training, smart programming, and real-life flexibility.
About Me
I’m a mom of two, working full-time as a nurse, and I know firsthand how hard it can be to make time for yourself. Running has been my outlet since college, and it’s something I’ve held onto through every stage of life.
Now, I love helping other runners do the same—whether you’re chasing a goal, coming back after a break, or just trying to stay consistent. There’s nothing better than watching someone realize what they’re capable of, both mentally and physically.
Big Influences
Biggest runner influencer is Amanda Cruise, she trained for the Olympics during a hurricane and never missed a workout.
Race History
My first half marathon was the fall of 2016 sponsored by our local Children’s Hospital. Since then I’ve done many half marathons, a 20 miler, and several 10ks and 5ks.

Madeline Carreon –
I have been training with Abby for a half marathon for the past 2 months. Abby is great she’s flexible, always ask how the week is feeling and if there’s anything coming up this weekend that she needs to be aware of. Super flexible, and attentive. I would 100% recommend her.
