PHILOSOPHY

Hard work and consistency can get you anywhere in life. I am personally a proponent of mixing in strength training with your running plans. Not only for athletic benefits but also for injury prevention. The more leg muscle you have the more impact they absorb to keep you on the road chasing those goals. I personally consider myself a hybrid type athlete where I run as well as lift. Whether you want to give the hybrid lifestyle or just focus on running I got you.

ABOUT ME

Hey there, I have been pretty much a life time runner. I started running back when I was 12 years old heading into 7th grade. I joined the cross country team and have been in love with running ever since.

I’m 34 and still passionate. I was decent in high-school but I never really broke out till after when I started running road 5ks and I caught the 5k fever bad and was doing them every weekend for a few years. Then I started getting into lifting and being a small guy I took a few years off running to focus on putting on muscle mass. Then I caught the Marathon bug in 2019 and ran the Athens (Ohio) marathon and then ran the Athens marathon again in 2023. Late last year I was Biking to work on my e-bike and a car turned left into me and I got banged up pretty good but by the grace of God I am still here and fully functional. My right lung had completely collapsed but recovered and now I am back on the running grind! Although my wife has banned me from riding a bike off an actual bike path… I can’t wait to get to know you and share my passion and experience with you!
