Coaching Experience
From head coaching high school basketball and soccer, to assistant coaching collegiate soccer up through my mid 20s, to coaching runners since 2023, I have a broad and diverse coaching background. I am a former wilderness guide having spent extensive time in Central America guiding people from around the world throughout the Guatemalan Highlands. I have also managed businesses in various general manager roles, where I have spent extensive time working with folks with various and diverse backgrounds. My vast experience in leadership roles has given me the ability to deeply connect with people with all kinds of experience and backgrounds.
About Me
I reside in the never ending back woods of Vermont. I am a lifetime lover of all things movement and nature. I have always been an athlete, whether it was playing baseball, soccer, or basketball in my youth and early adulthood, or hiking through my 20s, or committing to running at the beginning of 2020, exercise has been an integral and necessary part of who I am. Running has and will continue to challenge me in ways I never thought possible. It has given me so much, and I love coaching because that’s my personal way of reciprocating that back to the community.
Big Influences
My mom for her unconditional support, empathy, sense of humor and willingness to simply just go for it.
Race History
My experience racing thus far is rather slim, but as an all-things-running nerd, I fell in love with it back in 2020, and began this journey by committing to it long term focusing on having fun in the mountains, back roads and local trails. Last year in 2024, I began racing and taking it (somewhat) more seriously.
