Philosophy
I believe in training with purpose every run, workout, and recovery session should serve a clear goal. Efficiency is key, quality matters more than sheer quantity. My approach prioritizes training smart over excessive mileage, ensuring athletes develop speed, strength, and resilience without unnecessary wear and tear. At the heart of it all, I want running to be a rewarding pursuit, not just a grind. Whether you’re chasing a PR or simply looking to improve, my goal is to help you train smarter, stay healthy, and find joy in the process.
Coaching Experience
I’ve been coaching for over five years, learning from some of the best in the sport, including Ben Thomas, Pete Julian, and Mike Johnson. My athletes range from national-class high school runners to first-time racers and masters athletes. I’ve coached seven state champions and worked with runners across the country to achieve personal bests, whether competing at an elite level or simply stepping onto the starting line for the first time. My approach is built on the principles of smart, efficient training tailored to each athlete’s goals.
About Me
I am a professional middle-distance runner dedicated to helping others reach their full potential. A six-time NJCAA national champion, two-time Olympic Trials qualifier, and 2023 USA finalist, I know firsthand the dedication and smart training required to compete at the highest level.
I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Western Oregon University and my master’s in Sports Management from Texas A&M. Based in Williamsburg, Virginia, I train under Coach Ben Thomas, known for coaching Olympic 1500m gold medalist Cole Hocker. Whether you’re chasing PRs, building fitness, or stepping onto the starting line for the first time, I’m here to guide you with a purposeful, efficient approach to training.
