Philosophy
I believe that trail and ultra running is more than a sport; it’s a way of life. Consistency is the key to growth, and showing up each day, even in small ways, builds not only stronger legs but a stronger mind and spirit.
The trails teach us resilience, patience, and presence. They offer more than just fitness; they connect us to nature and to ourselves. My goal as a coach is to help athletes make running a sustainable part of their lifestyle, not just a hobby.
I design training plans that are personalized to meet each athlete’s unique needs, background, and goals. Along the way, I stay connected — motivating, encouraging, and celebrating every step of progress through consistent communication and support.
Ultimately, my purpose is to help athletes become their best, not only to meet their athletic goals, but to discover the confidence and strength that come from showing up and putting in the work day after day.
Coaching Experience
My coaching journey began with a simple goal — to share the joy and strength that running on trails has brought to my own life. I founded COS-TRCK, a kids’ trail running camp, to help young runners discover the fun and confidence that comes from being outside and moving through nature.
Over time, that same passion for helping others grow expanded into coaching adults — especially beginners who are learning to trust their bodies, build consistency, and develop a love for the process. I’ve guided runners as they train for everything from their first trail 5K to their first ultramarathon, helping them find balance between effort and recovery, and confidence in their abilities.
Through DreamAdventures, I’ve also coached and guided people in taking on big goals beyond running — like climbing mountains and tackling new adventures that challenge both the body and mind.
My coaching style is personalized; I provide one-on-one support, customized training plans, strength and mobility guidance, and mental coaching to help athletes grow stronger both physically and mentally. More than anything, I love watching people realize what they’re truly capable of when they commit to showing up for themselves day after day.
About Me
Ultrarunner | Adventure Enthusiast | HOKA Flyer and Mother
📍 Colorado Springs, Colorado
With nearly three decades of running behind her and over 50 ultras under her belt, Dreama Walton is a force in the trail world. She began running at 16 as a way to stay grounded during a time of personal upheaval — a walk-on to her high school track team who never stopped moving forward. Since then, she’s gone on to race globally, placing 1st at Zugspitze Rock the Top, podiuming multiple times at the Zugspitze Ultra, and competing in events like UTMB, CCC, TDS, Western States, and High Lonesome.
For Dreama, trail running is about more than finish lines — it’s about connection. To the earth. To grit. And to the people around her. She is a mother, an entrepreneur, recently starting her own Adventure guiding business called DreamAdventures, where she leads transformational trips guiding clients up Mount Kilimanjaro, Nepal, and many other incredible locations around the world.
She also gives back through programs like COS-TRCK and Trail Fit Bootcamp, which are youth programs designed to cultivate fitness and community.
Big Influences
I draw inspiration from athletes like Joseph Gray, Kilian Jornet, and Annie Hughes. These are people who embody grit, humility, and a deep love for the mountains. Their dedication and authenticity remind me why I run: to push limits, stay grounded in nature, and keep showing up no matter how hard the climb.
Race History
Started racing ultra distances in 2011. Please check out my Ultrasignup if you’re curious.

I started working with Dreama a few months ago in preparation for my first ultra, and in efforts to change my relationship with running. I couldn’t have imagined the changes that would come from working with this amazing human. Dreama has continuously taken the time to know me as an athlete and a human, and supported me daily with my goals and well being. She has helped me find joy, passion, and resilience both in running and life. Each week, we collaborate on the workouts to support my training, as well as how to care for my body through the process. She has taken me farther in this sport than I ever thought was possible. Dreama will truly support you physically and mentally along whatever your running journey may look like. Her passion and commitment to her athletes, and this sport is inspiring and an incredible gift to the community.

Dreama is an amazing coach and a huge inspiration. She’s completed all the top-tier 100-mile races like Leadville, Western States, and UTMB Mont Blanc, and that experience really shows in how she coaches. She’s personable, detail-oriented, and clearly knows what it takes to build a solid, realistic training plan.
I worked with Dreama while dealing with some injuries, and she was great at helping me work through them without overdoing it or losing progress. She adjusted my training smartly and always kept the long-term picture in mind. I felt supported the entire time.
If you’re looking for a coach who’s incredibly knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely invested in your success, I can’t recommend Dreama enough.
