SPECIALTIES
As both a PT and an experienced trail runner, my approach is simple: Your training plan should keep you healthy. I specialize in the transitions that sideline most runners—moving from road to trail, coming back from an injury, and stepping up to ultra distances.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe that our pursuit of performance should never diminish the pleasure of running. To me that means, developing personalized training program that seamlessly fits into your life.
My work centers on the belief that running should be a lifelong, pain-free activity. Leveraging my clinical expertise as a PT, I specialize in creating training plans that are not just about mileage, but about building a resilient body. I think that strength training is very beneficial in helping avoid injuries and unnecessary aches and pains. I support my athlete with both, so that no matter their goal, they feel strong and confident come race day. Whether you are striving to hit a PR or just jump up in distance, I am here to help you get there. I integrate targeted strength and mobility work into your routine to ensure you can confidently move on the trails and handle any challenge the course throws your way.
COACHING EXPERIENCE
Beyond coaching runners, I work with runners in my physical therapy company, recover from injury and come back stronger than ever.
ABOUT ME
Most days you’ll find me running with road runners, but deep down, I’m a trail runner through and through. Running has been part of my life for more than 20 years — it’s given me friendships, new challenges, and opportunities that have shaped who I am. I’ve had seasons where I’ve stepped away from racing to explore other sports, but I always find my way back to running. It’s where I feel grounded.
Outside of running, I own a physical therapy practice where I get to help people move and feel their best. I have two rescue dogs who keep me on my toes and remind me not to take life too seriously, and that exercise is play, not a chore. When I’m not training or working, I love to travel, find new trails to explore, and I’m always up for a good book recommendation — so if you’ve read something great lately, please share it!
My passion for running and strength training truly deepened after tearing a ligament in my knee in 2022. That experience forced me to slow down, learn, and rebuild — not just physically, but mentally. It led me to study from some of the best in the field so I could not only heal myself but help other runners do the same. That’s what inspired me to start Resilient Runner — a program built to educate and empower runners through injury, simplify strength training, and help them return to running safely.
