Running Coach Description

As a Lancaster running coach, I am a former All-American Cross Country and Track & Field athlete who now coaches an all-women’s Division III Cross Country and Track & Field Program at the collegiate level. We started out as an extremely small program, so I have had the privilege of coaching athletes with varying levels of experience, from women who have never gone on a run in their lives, to elite college athletes. Regardless of skill level or experience, I love watching the transformation of an athlete when they fully buy in and start achieving their goals.

Philosophy

I am here to help you achieve your goals, whatever they may be. I believe success at any level is achieved through consistency and dedication. Whether you want to complete your first 5k, learn effective pacing, hit a personal record, or just get off your couch, I am here to help you reach your goal. I will be honest with you, give tough love when you need, but most importantly I will be in your corner through both your failures and success. Success is not linear, and your road is not going to be easy, but if you communicate effectively and stay dedicated to the process, we will reach your goals together.

Coaching Experience

I have been a cross country/Track & field coach for 6 years now. I started out volunteering on the high school level, and training individuals from beginners to National Qualifying wrestlers trying to improve at running for cross training. The last three years I have been a Head Cross Country and Track & Field coach on the NCAA level, improving a team that took 9th in our Conference, to 2nd in a span of 3 years.

About Me

When it comes to athletics of have dabbled in a little bit of everything. I started of wrestling, where I became a Nationally ranked wrestler my freshman year of college, to becoming a 3x All American Cross Country and Track athlete. Post collegiately I switched to Trail running and Obstacle Course racing and getting ranked in the top 25 in the world for a stretch. I have also competed on American Ninja Warrior.

Big Influences

The main reason I got into coaching was because I had the opportunity to have some incredible coaches change my life. My high school and college Cross Country and Track Coaches made me into the person, athlete and coach I am today. My father and high school wrestling coaches have always been huge influences in my life and make me want to become a better coach each and every day.

Race History

I have had the blessing of competing at 6 National Championships in Cross Country, Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field, where I have had success, failures, and have learned so many valuable lessons throughout
