About Me
I am fascinated by the psychology of athletes. I obtained my master’s degree in positive coaching and athletic leadership from Mizzou in 2025 and am currently pursuing certification as a mental performance consultant. When I’m not running, I’m trying to be a jack of all hobbies. I like reading, sketching, recently I picked up learning guitar, photography, I’m a movie fanatic, I love any outdoor activity. Any family and friends time I can get is the best. In all things, I hope to glorify Jesus Christ.

Race History
I once had the opportunity to race a marathon at Holloman Air Force Base in New Mexico with a friend of mine who was stationed there at the time. I hadn’t trained specifically for this race, but I had done quite a few ultra marathons in the months before then and got away with running a sub-5-hour race in the desert with 8 miles being the farthest training distance I’d completed leading up to that race. This was the best personal example of how mentality and pressure affect performance. I was confident in my ability to cover that distance and wasn’t concerned with hitting a time goal. I really could go out there and just run for enjoyment. this helped spark my pursuit of studying the holistic athlete and the focus on the mental aspect of all athletics. As a bonus, I got to meet some pretty awesome people both at the race and enroute to the race. The running community is the best there is!
