As a Massage Therapist and Personal Trainer, I see a lot of injured athletes and runners who have deficiencies in their training and strides, and my knowledge of both training and recovery techniques provides me with a unique perspective on developing a long-term plan for each person. I love working with runners to help them find a style of running that works best for their bodies and developing a strength training and stretching and recovery program that will help them keep running!

My background with running starts with track and extends into the road. As a steeplechase athlete turned avid road and trail runner, I understand the subtle nuances these races require. I love working with all athletes, whether they are setting out to run their first 5K, or they are trying to set personal records in half and full marathons.


I believe a training plan needs to accurately fit an athlete’s unique lifestyle. I would rather see you have a healthy relationship with the task you’ve set out to do, rather than building up stress just to get a workout in each day. My process is to take your background in running and help build a plan to ramp you up to a fitness level where you can not only achieve your goals but also build consistency incorporating these workouts into your daily life. Training should be rewarding and fun!


I have coached a number of small groups over the years ranging from mile to marathon.


I competed at Western Washington University where I ran the steeplechase, 5k and 1500. I received 7 All American honors and more importantly made amazing friends and developed many life skills. I got a BS in Kinesiology and practiced as a Personal Trainer for a number of years before going back to school to become a Licensed Massage Therapist. In 2016 I trained for the Olympic Trails for the steeplechase and fell short, but learned a lot! I have since taken to trail to road running since as well as incorporating skiing and mountain biking into training and taking more time to play!


My coach in college, David Burnett, has been the biggest influence on my running. He shared with me the importance of training your body for a specific task, as well as fitting training and competing into your lifestyle. He was and remains to be one of my biggest supporters and I can only hope to return the favor to athletes and friends going forward.


In college I competed at a Division II school where I learned how to be a successful student AND athlete. The year that fallowed, I dedicated my time to training for the Olympic Trails in the steeplechase. After that serious endeavor I took some time off of running to rediscover a joy for running. I ended up training for some 50k’s and finding a whole new appreciation for running which I had lost for a number of years. I am currently training for 5k- half marathon distances!
