  • Track & Field Events (sprints, jumps, hurdles, relays)
  • 5k, 10K, and Half Marathons
  • I also specialize in gait analysis to help runners obtain proper gear and strengthen their running form.

  • I believe running teaches discipline, self-awareness, grows character and community.
  • Running takes time and consistency to meet goals both big and small.
  • Communication with your body and your coach are essential to your success.
  • Most runners start training with a goal in mind, but aren’t sure how to get from their current fitness levels to their goals. I take both the goal and current fitness level to build each athlete a plan to meet their goals.

I have been coaching a total of 6 years (so far). I have coached elementary, middle school, high school and adult athletes in distances from the 100 meter dash to the full marathon.

I was a part of a State Runner Up team for both cross country and track in 2018.

I have coached a local competitive youth track club team where 9 athletes have compete on the National level in 2023.

I have coached 6 athletes (so far) in sprints, jumps and hurdles receive scholarships to various universities including division 1 university teams.

I also have enjoyed coaching several athletes in their training for fitness testing for the Air Force or Police Academy (usually a 300m sprint and 1.5mi run). 90% of the athletes I have worked with have passed.

I have a Bachelors of Science in Sport Wellness and a Masters of Education in Secondary Education. I was a school teacher for 4 years before coaching running full time!

I started running in middle school. I qualified for state in multiple track events all 4 high school years. I finished off my senior year with a personal state championship in the high jump.

I ran track and high jumped for Oklahoma Christian University in the NAIA division.

After a 2 year break from college running, I decided it was time to get back out there but wanted to train for longer distances. I started with 5k’s which led me to run my first half marathon in 2017 and my first full marathon in 2019.

I had a foot injury that caused me to take a year off running in 2020-2021. Coming back to running after that time away was challenging but so rewarding! All the hard work I put in while injured allowed me to come back stronger and faster.

I am a new mom as of 2023 to a sweet baby girl! I ran as much as I could during my pregnancy and I’m having fun seeing what my body can do postpartum.

Running brings me so much joy and my hope is that I can bring you inspiration and encouragement throughout your running journey!

  • My high school track coach, Coach McKinney, encouraged me to run track as a 7th grader. He inspired me, encouraged me and pushed me to always do better than I thought I could.
  • In the summers as a high schooler, I went to track camp at Texas Tech University to train with Diane Wholey for high jump and sprints.
  • The many things I learned from both of these coaches and their coaching staff I still use today in the way I train and in the way I coach – warms up, cool downs, racing strategies, and mindset.

I have raced nearly every sprinting event (4×100 m relay-4×400 m relay, 100m, 200m, 400m, 100m/300m hurdles) qualifying for state in the 4×100, and the 4×200 3 out of 4 high school years.
After high school and college I have run almost 10+ 5ks, a few 10ks, 4 Half Marathons and 2 Full Marathon with many more to come.

Some of my favorite races to run:

  • Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon
  • Route 66 Marathon- Tulsa
  • BMW Dallas Marathon

  • UESCA Running Coach (United Endurance Sports Coaching Academy)
  • NASM Certified Personal Trainer (National Association of Sports Medicine)

  • 5K (23:47) 2022 Owasso Hog Jog
  • 10K (51:18) 2022 Holiday Hustle (4th overall Female)
  • 13.1 (1:55) 2022 OKC Memorial Half Marathon
