SPECIALTIES

Distances: speedy 5K’s (road and trail) to half and full marathons, to 50K. I have a holistic approach to you as an athlete, recognizing that running isn’t merely about the miles but nourishing the mind and body as well. I like to prioritize the importance of recovery and strength training. I’m also familiar with post-injury running, especially those who have experience hip, knee, and plantar fasciitis. At the end of the day, running is a beautiful movement.

PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy is rooted in two fundamental principles: Training smarter, not harder – and fostering a loving relationship with running. It’s all in the planning.

COACHING EXPERIENCE

Individual and small group coaching – been on local team runs, and I have specifically coached a few friends and family from couch to half marathon and couch to 5K.

ABOUT ME

I’m also a lifelong pianist and a self-taught DJ – I apply musical training to running as well!

I love the mountains and have an affinity for Europe!

I have a cat who teaches me about rest and recovery after sprints!

BIG INFLUENCES

The Arthur Lydiard training, for building a solid base and fundamentals of running. Also Courtney Dauwalter for the endurance mindset and grit!

RACING HISTORY

The Los Angeles Marathon – a course I dreamt of running one day, because my aunt ran this course when I was growing up. I ran this twice in 2018 and 2019! I completed a 50K trail ultra before racing this marathon. Another memorable race was the 12-hour Cirque du Griffith Park – I hit my goal of 50 miles!

Another memorable race was a local 5K – The Beach Dash – where I came in 1st female overall!
