Running Coach Description
2:46 marathoner and former NCAA DIII hurdler helping runners train smarter, race stronger, and enjoy the process.
Specialties
I specialize in helping runners set meaningful goals and create sustainable training habits that lead to long-term success. My coaching experience spans both track and road racing, allowing me to work with athletes pursuing everything from their first 5K to ambitious marathon PRs. With a background in hurdles, sprint mechanics, and marathon training, I enjoy helping athletes improve efficiency, confidence, race execution, and consistency. I also place a strong emphasis on accountability, communication, and adapting training to fit real-life schedules.
Philosophy
I believe the best results come from consistency, not perfection. Every athlete has unique goals, strengths, responsibilities, and life circumstances, so coaching should never be one-size-fits-all. My role is to provide structure, accountability, and guidance while helping athletes understand the “why” behind their training.
I encourage runners to dream big while respecting the process required to get there. Whether an athlete is training for their first race or chasing a Boston Marathon qualifier, I focus on sustainable progress, open communication, and building confidence through small victories that compound over time. Running has given me incredible friendships, mentors, and opportunities, and I strive to create that same positive experience for the athletes I coach.

About Me
I grew up in Muskego, Wisconsin, where I discovered my love for running through track and field. What started as a passion for sprinting and hurdles eventually evolved into a lifelong commitment to the sport. After competing as a Division III athlete at Carroll University, I transitioned into road racing and marathon training, where I’ve continued to challenge myself while staying deeply involved in the local running community.
Today, I balance competitive racing, coaching, community leadership, and a professional career while continuing to pursue ambitious goals of my own. Running has shaped who I am by teaching discipline, resilience, and the importance of surrounding yourself with supportive people. Those lessons now guide the way I coach and mentor others.
