I am also a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, ACE Group Fitness Instructor, ACE Nutrition Specialist, and RYT- 200 hr. Philosophy
I truly believe that anyone can complete any race distance, whether that be through walking, running, or a combination of the two. Together we will develop a plan that fits your schedule and your life. I follow the 80/20 method meaning that we will keep the easy days easy in order to keep hard days hard.
Coaching Experience
I have been teaching and coaching fitness classes since 2015, I have coached Middle School cross country and track and field. I am beginning my individual run coach journey with Team Run Run and am so excited to put all of my love and knowledge for running and strength training to work for you!
About Me
I started running in Graduate School as a way to take a break from the grind of school work. My first race was the Baltimore Half Marathon, and I knew NOTHING about shoes, gear, nutrition or what I was doing. I somehow made it across the finish line and was hooked. Running is a big part of who I am and what I do. I have run every distance up to a full Marathon, and my favorite distance is the Half. I am not setting any world records over here, but am proud to be a middle of the pack runner who enjoys the journey of the race.
Big Influences
Kara Goucher, Des Linden, Amanda Fleshman-just to name a few. However, I also am a huge fan of Girls Gone Strong strength training programs, Triathletes Haley Chura and Alyssa Godesky, and my own personal running coach Katie 🙂
Race History
I have ran every distance from the 5k to the full Marathon. My most memorable race is my first race ever, The Baltimore Half Marathon. I will never forget the feeling I had when I crossed the finish line-what a monumental feat that was for me! My first Marathon was also just as memorable, as I ran the Chicago Marathon in 2018. I swore I would never run another one at about mile 24-now I can not wait to do another!

Christie –
Megan has been a wonderful coach for me. I have done marathons in the past, but had gotten significantly slower and needed some help to get my next one done. Megan provides weekly running plans that make me work and are at the same time achievable. She has also provided me with specific strength training plans which was new to me. I feel stronger and faster than I have been in years. I’m grateful for Megan’s encouragement as well as expertise.
Amy Park –
Megan is the first coach I have worked with and it has been a great experience so far! She has designed workouts that challenge me and push me out of my comfort zone but that are still achievable. She is very responsive to any questions I have and works with me to make sure our plan is what I need. I was able to meet (and exceed!) my goals for a recent race thanks to the plan that she designed. She’s been very supportive and encouraging through every step of training.

The best coach for me. I have trained with coaches before where I met my goals but the structure was quite rigid. Megan is unique in that she listens to my input and lets me be a part of the process. I am in my sixties and this approach protects me from injury, keeps the goal in sight, and makes for good team building. I move forward in a collaborative way and that makes all the difference.
