Philosophy
I believe on focusing on the “why” when it comes to running. Every workout is intentional, with a purpose, not just random running. I’ll work with you to determine your why for running that will help you succeed at every start line you approach.
Coaching Experience
I’ve been informally coaching runners over 13 years, by making training plans for women in my sorority to run the Austin half marathon. In September 2025, I officially obtained by UESCA run coach certification and have coached a variety of runners from first race to shaving 30+ minutes off their half marathon time. In addition to run coaching, I have been a group fitness instructor since 2020, including being an RYT-200 and NASM-CPT.
About Me
I’ve been running for 13 years and my love for running helped me get into group fitness and teaching. I teach Yoga, Pilates, and HIIT and absolutely love the incredible connections I’ve been able to make. I recently adopted a 2 year old mini schnauzer, Marwin and he loves to join me for a few miles of a run. I also have a frenchie, Peanut, but sadly he doesn’t run. I love traveling – and have done several race trips with friends. We even have a designated spectator friend who is our ultimate hype girl. While some of the races haven’t gone as planned, those trips have been the best times of my life because of the laughs and memories we have. I’m an early bird, but I can stay up for a Texas football game or a good dinner. While it’s hard to get into new Austin restaurants, I’m always excited to check out a new spot.
Big Influences
My 200 hour yoga teacher training really helped to shape a lot of my overall teaching and coaching philosophy. It made me intentional with working out and prepping workouts for others. I also love reading about how much our brain plays into our running and honestly everyday life. I read a lot of sports psychology books, but my favorite running specific book has to be Meb Keflezighi, “26 Marathons: What I Learned About Faith, Identity, Running, and Life from My Marathon Career.”
Race History
As of October 2026, I have run 9 marathons (soon to be 10) and 21 half marathons (soon to be 22). I’m working on my own BQ and completing the world majors – I’ve currently ran Chicago and Tokyo, with New York City being next up! Fun fact: I ran the Tokyo marathon with Harry Styles and we crossed the 10k at the exact second (no, I sadly didn’t realize at the time).
