I’m excited to work with runners who are looking for not only a coach but also accountability and encouragement. Maybe you have been running for a while and are now interested in running faster or farther. Maybe you picked up running for your general health and fitness and fell in love with it and want to conquer your next goal of a 5k or a marathon. I am here to guide you through your next chapter of running whatever your next goal is.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe that every runner is different. This means that each runner has different goals, different abilities, different paces, and different training plans. My goal is to create a running plan that works for you, getting you from where you are and to where you want to be.
COACHING EXPERIENCE
Although I’m new to coaching, I have been running for over 15 years. The past 4 years, I have been encouraging runners to achieve their person best as a pacer for several different companies throughout the United States.
ABOUT ME
My running career pretty much started when I was living in San Antonio, TX and going through a divorce. My sister invited me to come back to Missouri and run my first half marathon in St. Louis, MO. I decided to take her on the offer and run the half marathon, with very little training. Since my first half marathon, I have ran over 25 half marathons and more than 10 marathons. I have also faced my fair share of injuries. In the 15 years of running, I have had a torn plantar facia, IT band syndrome in both legs, and Grade 2 and Grade 3 ankle sprains.
Besides, running, I also enjoy Crossfit and refereeing high school sports in volleyball, basketball, softball, and baseball.
