SPECIALTIES
I specialize in coaching beginner and intermediate runners who are ready to take the next step toward their running and fitness goals. Whether you’re training for your very first 5K, chasing a personal best in the marathon, or anywhere in between, I’ll design a fully customized training plan built around your goals. My coaching emphasizes flexibility, making it ideal for runners with busy schedules. We’ll review your plan together before you begin, and I’ll check in regularly to adjust and refine it so your training stays effective, sustainable, and aligned with your progress.
PHILOSOPHY
My coaching philosophy is defined by the following principles:
- Running is for everyone: I provide science-based training plans that help individuals of all levels pursue their running goals.
- Every runner is unique: Each athlete has different needs, so I create fully customized plans tailored to your goals, schedule, and abilities.
- Communication is essential: I maintain regular contact with my athletes to track progress, address concerns, and adjust training plans as needed.
- Enjoyment fuels progress: Training isn’t just about chasing times—it’s about finding rhythm, confidence, and joy in the process. Running is an opportunity to recharge, connect with yourself, and experience the simple pleasure of movement.
- Running is a lifelong activity: I emphasize sustainable training so athletes can enjoy running for years to come, not just for a single season.
COACHING EXPERIENCE
While I am new to formal coaching, I have extensive experience as a runner and have informally guided friends and family in training for races from 5Ks to marathons. In September 2025, I earned my UESCA Running Coach Certification and officially launched my coaching career. I am excited to bring my expertise, energy, and passion for running to the Team RunRun community and help athletes achieve their goals.
ABOUT ME
I have been passionate about long-distance running for over 20 years, beginning with my high school cross-country team and continuing through regular 5Ks, half marathons, marathons, and triathlons. Running has been a source of joy, challenge, and personal growth for me—it’s not just about the distance, but the sense of freedom, focus, and accomplishment each run brings. I love sharing that joy with others, helping runners discover the same excitement and fulfillment in the sport that has been such a meaningful part of my life
BIG INFLUENCES
My influences are those who coached me in the past, fellow runners in my community, and my UESCA training.
