Specialties
My coaching experience encompasses runners of all levels, from those chasing 5K goals to those aiming for the marathon. I’ve also coached high school cross-country and track for several years.
Through my coaching experiences and my own running, I’ve gained tips & tricks that have helped avoid injury, remain mentally engaged and motivated in training, and properly fuel leading up to race day, as well as what to eat on race day.
All training packages from me include:
- Weekly text videos that highlight the upcoming week’s training plan
- Any time communication through text or email
- Goal-setting sessions to help establish training for the goal you want to achieve
- Pre/Post-run injury prevention drills
- Weekly training updates where we can discuss your training and ensure that you’re still on pace to hit your set goal
Philosophy
Recognizing that we have lives outside of training, I aim to establish systems and routines that make training more convenient and practical – without compromising the other important areas of your life. I also believe in individualized training, where each week should focus on building confidence and momentum. Working as a team, I value open communication so that I can tailor workouts and training to ensure the joy of building fitness.
Coaching Experience
- Former Division II & III Cross-Country and Track Coach.
- Have coached for over 7 years, helping athletes in Cross Country, Track & Field, and Road Racing
About Me
I’ve spent the majority of my life chasing goals and helping others achieve theirs. It personally brings me a lot of joy to see athletes achieve their goals, especially ones they thought were impossible. I’ve come to believe that when you’re passionate about something, you tend to do your best work in that area because you’re willing to extend yourself further than most because of that passion. That’s why I feel like I’m in the right place, coaching runners with goals and dreams of their own.
Aside from coaching, I am a full-time high school biology teacher who enjoys yoga, cooking, and paddleboarding. Coffee isn’t much of a hobby, but I enjoy that too!
