SPECIALTIES

I specialize in individualized running programming. No two runners have the same goals, experience, and training schedules. Each training plan takes all these factors into account to help you meet and even exceed your goals. I work closely with my athletes to not only develop a strong body but also a strong mind so together we can make you a motivated runner. I stay up to date on evidence based practices and research to be able to help you be an informed runner. I like to use data as much as mindfulness and body awareness to navigate running planning. Through my vast experience as a runner and coach I specialize in coaching middle distance-marathon athletes, trail, road, track and treadmill runners. I can help you with a strength and mobility routine as well as mindset and fueling.

PHILOSOPHY

Running can make you feel invincible, like a super hero and unstoppable.

Accomplishing goals you never thought possible opens a whole new world of possibilities in life.

Being a runner is possible for everyone and I am here to help get you to that finish line feeling.

Movement, mindset and mental health are so important to feel like you are reaching your full potential in life!

COACHING EXPERIENCE

I started coaching a youth running club at local schools and parks. Working with youth runners has made me able to work with any type of runner with any goal. I have become a good motivator and cheer leader. I have expanded my coaching to coach competitive teams and athletes to be able to meet personal goals each season. I have worked with individual runners of all levels and enjoy helping them with different goals that are meaningful to them. As a UESCA certified running coach I have insight and perspective that allows me to see all the aspects of running that are needed for success; from mechanics, strength, programming, recovery, mindset and health. As a former behavior therapist I understand motivation is important to make changes and achieve your full potential.

ABOUT ME

I have loved running for as long as I can remember. As a teenager it was my way to fit in and have friends. As a young adult it has been a way to stay active, feel grounded and accomplished. And now it is something I get to share with my son. Whether I am just out for an easy run or training for races, running has always brought me happiness and peace.

RACING HISTORY

I have done many races in different states and have learned from each one of them.

I ran a half marathon untrained once. I knew I could finish the distance. I had no plans of running for a PR so I didn’t think training mattered. I ended up hobbling to the finish line, had ITB pain, knee pain and ended up rotation my lower leg off my knee. It was a mess but I learned to respect all distances and respect a training plan!

My first 5k postpartum running with a stroller was slow but amazing. I learned to adjust goals for my current fitness level. I learned to start over as a runner. I learned to have fun with racing.

Tori has been awesome to work with. We made clear goals together and she worked within my schedule to make it work. When things didn’t work out scheduling wise (life happens), she was always quick to make adjustments and ensure we got the most out of my workouts. Tori is ultra responsive and helped out with any question I had. She got me into the best shape I’ve seen in a long time and made me love running again! Can’t wait to work with her in the future.

Tori is an awesome coach. I have been running a long time and she listened to what my goals and objectives were and put together a personalized plan that reflected those goals. She provides me with feedback and encouragement that keeps me motivated. She also provides me with unique and challenging workouts that are helping to take my fitness to the next level.

Tori is seriously the best, she is my first running coach and I will never use anyone else! I felt my fitness improving so much so quickly after working together. She is super responsive and updates my workouts weekly! I really didn’t know how to tackle a marathon, but with Tori I am feeling confident. I highly recommend Tori to help you reach your running goals!

Tori is a wonderful coach, I cannot recommend her enough. Tori’s enthusiasm for running and genuine passion makes her a great coach to work with. She is exceptionally knowledgeable and is super responsive to all my questions with everything related to running. Additionally, she has provided a wide range of custom workouts (strength, cardio, flexibility, and running) that have helped me make considerable progress in my running. She’s also been able to adapt the plans based on my personal schedule and injuries, while providing encouragement and guidance. I definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a running coach.

Tori is a great coach! I worried that I’d be getting one-size-fits-all ‘cookie-cutter’ workouts, but Tori has consistently provided varied and interesting assignments in my training plan. I have only recently started running, so she has had to cope with me not having a standard “comfortable” pace, and not have the muscle development another lifelong runner would already bring to the party, among other mistakes beginning runners make. She promptly reviews my post-workout notes and responds thoughtfully to anything I mention about how my body is reacting to the work. I think she is great and would recommend her to anyone.
