Specialties

I specialize in trail running and ultramarathons. I’ve run races from 5K-1,000+ miles and everything in between. I can customize plans to fit many needs.

Philosophy

I believe running should be fun. All goals and training should be built around enjoying the process and it is important to me that someone loves running for a long time, rather than burning themselves out achieving goals. By focusing on passion and adventure, the results will come naturally.

Coaching Experience

I have coached many people to their first marathons/ultramarathons. Many folks need that extra push to get over the edge and I’m happy to give that support.

About Me

I grew up in northern Minnesota and graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Sports Management.

Since then, I’ve been living a nomadic life. Lots of traveling around and exploring. I’m often found camping, backpacking, and living the “dirtbag” life in nature as much as possible.

Big Influences

I’m influenced a bit by everybody. Everyone I meet in the trail running/ultra space has unquiet experience and I try to be as open-minded as possible and take a little bit from everyone to form my own values and philosophies.

I’m drawn towards people that have clear, deep why’s beyond results and those who enjoy the simple things such as spending time on trail and being content with that. Everything else is a bonus.
