SPECIALTIES

  • Half Marathons, beginner/intermediate runners.
  • I’m an NASM-CPT so I have experience with strength training and writing personalized workouts as well as treadmill workouts
  • I’m also a registered nurse so I have experience working with those who have complex medical histories and can help manage these while keeping a runner safe and healthy.

PHILOSOPHY

  • I am a firm believer that we all began running for a reason, and we should never forget why we started.
  • I also believe that running not only has physical benefits, but mental benefits as well and both are of great significance.
  • I want to help create a healthy relationship with running and never forget the joy it brings to your life.

COACHING EXPERIENCE

I’ve been a NASM-CPT since 2019 and I have written and trained one on one clients as well as at a HIIT studio.

I have worked with a wide range of runners, providing tailored coaching that has helped them reach their individual performance goals, including improvements in race times and endurance distances.

ABOUT ME

I began running in college during a rough time in my life, and it saved me. I coached myself for years and finally pushed myself to run my first half-marathon when I was 26. That was the moment I fell in love with racing, and even more in love with running.

I also work as a Registered Nurse in Oncology and use my experience as a trainer, coach and runner to help my patients prevent becoming unconditioned.

My experience in healthcare has also given me to knowledge to educate my patients and clients on proper nutrition and creating an all around healthy lifestyle.

BIG INFLUENCES

Biggest runner influencer is Amanda Cruise, she trained for the Olympics during a hurricane and never missed a workout.

RACING HISTORY

My first half marathon was the fall of 2016 sponsored by our local Childrens Hospital. At every mile, there is a childrens patient with their families cheering you on and it’s the most inspirational moment you could experience. Since then, I’ve been hooked and have ran 8 half marathons and many local 5ks and 10k.

I have been training with Abby for a half marathon for the past 2 months. Abby is great she’s flexible, always ask how the week is feeling and if there’s anything coming up this weekend that she needs to be aware of. Super flexible, and attentive. I would 100% recommend her.
