SPECIALTIES

I specialize in working with beginner to intermediate runners who are chasing big goals – whether that’s moving up in distance, hitting a new PR, or simply building confidence in your training. I believe the mental side of running is just as important as the physical. One of my favorite parts of coaching is helping athletes break through mental barriers and believe in themselves.

PHILOSOPHY

My coaching philosophy centers around personalization, joy, and longevity. I believe every athlete deserves a training plan tailored to their goals, experience, and lifestyle, along with thoughtful feedback to help them grow. Just as importantly, I believe training should be fun and fulfilling. Enjoying the process not only keeps athletes motivated, but also helps them tap into their full potential. I want to help my athletes build a strong, joyful relationship with running so it can be a sustainable and empowering part of their lives.

COACHING EXPERIENCE

I’ve spent the past two years as a secondary Health and PE teacher, and I have also been an Assistant Track and Field Coach as well as a Strength and Conditioning Coach. I recently became a UESCA certified running coach and am excited to begin working 1:1 with adult athletes. My background in both education and coaching gives me a strong foundation for helping runners of all ages build confidence, strength, and lifelong enjoyment in the sport.

ABOUT ME

I started running when I was 11 and ran my first half marathon at 12. Running has no doubt been a huge part of my life ever since. I got into marathons during college and in 2020 I found myself running an unofficial marathon every single month. I called it the “marathon a month challenge”. Eventually, I found my way into ultrarunning. I’ve completed four ultramarathons so far, with my longest race being a 100K. Outside of running, I’m also a passionate hiker, backpacker, rock climber, backcountry skier, and occasionally a triathlete. I love blending these adventures into my training because they keep me grounded, fulfilled, and excited to move. I really love to have fun in the mountains, but also maintain my passion for road running as well. It’s all about balance!

BIG INFLUENCES

My biggest influence is my dad. He helped me train for my very first half marathon and has helped me grow my mental strength, consistency, and resilience ever since. The lessons he taught me about showing up, believing in myself, and pushing through tough moments have shaped how I approach both my own running and my coaching philosophy.

I’ve participated in many events, but some of my favorites include:

  • Arnold Mills 4 Mile Road Race
