  3. Absolutely beautiful course

Not so much – Aspects of the race that didn’t do it for you

The path is narrow so just keep that in mind for trying to pass others or stay right!

Highlights of your race – What did you do well and enjoy about your race in particular?

More on a personal note – I ran this race with my father and while we stuck together for just the first 4 miles it was a highlight of my year.

Aesthetics – Is it a pretty course?

Beautiful- the course runs on the NOD trail and passes through forest and by the water

Difficulty – Is it a tough course?

Rolling hills, flat for the last 4-5 miles, net downhill

Logistics – Does it require a special handshake, registration a year in advance, hotels all booked? Give us the low down on the nuts and bolts of making the race happen.

I’d recommend booking the Red Lion hotel with the discount because the finish is right there!

Aid Stations – Standard fare or anything special to know about the aid stations in terms of what’s available or when?

Aid stations are every 2 miles

Weather and typical race conditions

It rained but it was lovely and in the upper 50’s

How’s the Swag?

I got a very very nice quarter zip!

The Overall Score – How many stars do you give this race and do you recommend that others run it?

5/5 🙂
